I’ve been producing audio since 2019.
Sound brings me close——to places across China, and to the tender wreckage inside people. It taught me maturity, kept me curious, and made me fall in love with capturing truth and vulnerability.
Today I work across three roles: creator, mentor, and community builder.
I have reported, produced, and translated across some of the audio world's most interesting corners:
I was the senior producer of China’s pioneering narrative podcasts StoryFM(故事FM）, produced 100+ episodes, and coverage included investigative documentaries, long-form interviews, and on-the-ground reporting. The Show has featured on NPR’s Rough Translation and The New York Times.
I create and produce audio content for both Chinese and English-language media — sometimes as a reporter, sometimes as a producer in the background making sure everything sounds right.
In between stories, I freelance as a bilingual translator and fact-checker for U.S. media outlets, most recently for The New York Times and NPR.
I'm also the program director of Voice Exchange, a cross-cultural initiative connecting emerging audio creators from China and the U.S. through workshops and public events.
